Come back soon for a concise look at St. Mary's over the past 1000 years.

Please e-mail:  history@saintmarys.plus.com  if you would like to purchase a copy of the extremely interesting Church History guide. This can be sent to you by snail mail or can e-mailed to you as a pdf document. Cost in either format: £7.50 donation to Church funds.

If you are interested in the Churchyard or tracing family graves please e-mail us.  Upkeep of all graves is through the grateful support of Church and family members. Your help would be appreciated.

The North aisle of the Church was rebuilt by the Church architect, George Fellowes Prynne. This is arguably one of his least successful works of church restoration. Externally the limestone block work does not sit easily with the random stonework of the rest of the church.  Click here for a link to the George Fellowes Prynne website.
